We always recommend resin grout for porcelain. It’s flexible, stands up well to the weather, and can be coloured to contrast with the tiles.
For patios, we can use a sand and cement bed, similar to natural stone, though the adhesive method gives better long term stability. A standard patio usually takes between 2 and 4 days from start to finish.
