What Is Resin Surfacing?
We mix natural stone aggregates, usually 2 to 6mm in size, with clear polyurethane resin, then trowel the mix onto a prepared base. Once it has cured, you have a solid surface where the individual stones are still visible but locked firmly together. The result is a textured finish that feels comfortable underfoot.
A resin bound system is permeable, so water drains straight through instead of sitting on top. That matters for drainage regulations and for everyday use, because you won’t be left with puddles after rain.
